RM of Fish Creek 402 uses the Alvena Transfer Station for garbage disposal. The site is located across from the Village of Alvena to the east, along Highway 41. The site accepts tagged and bagged household garbage, non treated wood, leaves, branches, garden refuse, scrap metal and appliances. 

A $10.00 appliance tag is required for appliances, and garbage tags are $1.50 per tag. Tags can be purchased at the RM of Fish Creek Office for the Village of Alvena Office.  

The site will be open Saturdays 9:00 am to noon from May 1^st – October 1^st and the 1^st and 3^rd Saturday the remainder of the year.
